Review Catch me if you can

I watched a movie at school with my classmates and my teacher, we watched the film called : “Catch me if you can.” To be straight up, I found the film extremely boring. I will discuss more details about it further within this review.

Catch Me If You Can is a film from 2002. Directed and produced by Steven Spielberg. The film is based on a true story written by Jeff Nathanson about the autobiography of Frank Abagnale Jr. the story is about how Frank Abagnale, one of the most famous con-artists in history, faked over eight identities, several jobs, and cashed over $2.5 million worth of checks in the 1960s, until the police finally caught him at age 21.

Steven Spielberg is an American film-maker, he is one of the most popular directors and producers in the history of films. The music is by John Williams, you may have heard of him before because his music is in alot of popular movies like : the Star Wars series, Jaws, Superman, the first two movies of Jurassic park and a lot more. He has been working with Steven Spielberg since 1974. The main actors of the movie are : Leonardo DiCaprio as Frank Abagnale Jr, Tom Hanks as Carl Hanratty, Christopher Walken as Frank Abagnale Sr, Nathalie Baye as Paula Abagnale, Amy Adams as Brenda Strong, Martin Sheen as Roger Strong, James Brolin as Jack Barnes and Nancy Lenehan as Carol Strong. The film has a rating of 8,1 on the IMDb.

In my opinion the film was very bad. For a kid of my age (15) there was a lot of talking which made the movie boring from the start. There was no action whatsoever. So the movie felt like it was taking ages to finish. Also it may be my taste for movies because I’m more the kind of a action/thriller movie guy. It was also a pretty old movie so the quality wasn’t that great if you compared it to the movies of the present.

As my conclusion I will advise that if you’re younger than 18 years old you will probably find the movie fairly boring. If you’re older than 18 you may find it quite interesting. If you are a fan of drama/crime I really recommend it! If not? don’t watch it. You will waste your time.
